Farmer Caroline Visits Bramber!

Farmer Caroline (Caroline Harriott) from Lychpole Farm (home to Sompting Pumpkins) came to visit Year 4 and to speak to the whole school about life managing a farm. She showed us photographs of the cattle, sheep and other animals that can be found on their land. She talked to us about where our milk comes from, gave us an insight into her life as a farmer and told us more about the amazing pumpkins they grow each year. Did you know the cattle feed on the pumpkins long after we have picked them? They even have orange noses to show for it! Thank you Farmer Caroline. We hope to be able to get out and visit you on the farm.
