Week One

What a wonderful start to school our Ducklings have had this week! We are so proud of how well they have settled in, started to make friends, explored the environment and learnt the new rules for listening and keeping safe. This week they also had a tour of the school and their first full school day. Well done Ducklings!

We’d also like to say a big thank you to the Ducklings’ parents and carers as we can imagine it's been a very emotional week for you all! We hope that seeing the photos of your children happy and learning in their new school environment will help to reassure you that they are all settling in well.

First week notices:

- Please note that home time pick up next week will be 3.10 from the school gate (not 3:15). This is to try and reduce congestion at the end of the day. Once the new school roof is finished we will be very pleased to be going back to the normal school drop off and pick up arrangements but please bear with us until then!

- We have now emailed all the tapestry login links so please check your email junk folder before getting in touch if you haven't received the log in information.

- If your child has a packed lunch please can you ensure any grapes are cut into quarters to reduce the risk of choking. Please refer to the child accident prevention trust website for more information on this : https://capt.org.uk/why-are-grapes-so-dangerous/ 

- Don't forget to send your children in with their 'All About Me' box next week.
