Week 4

Weekly Catch up

Maths

This week the children start division, they have worked incredibly hard following methods and applying it to their learning. I am so proud with how well they are doing!

English

Children have been using technology to research animals from the Polar regions. They have been working well together in groups and collecting facts. They then arranged and presented these facts on a poster.

Children have also learnt about co-ordinating conjunctions this week and have been practising using them in their writing. 

Science.

Children have carried on with their materials topic. They have been on a hunt for materials around blue wind to see what items are made of, thinking about the use of materials and why we use them

Art. 

Children have been learning about mono printing. They have been practising different sketching skills to hellp them with the mono print they will shortly be making. 

Geography

 We have been learning about the 5 oceans. Children have really enjoyed exploring the world. See if they can remember their oceans (they're very good!)
