Sukkot
In RE, we learned about the Jewish holiday Sukkot. Sukkot is a harvest festival but also remembers the Exodus, when Moses led his people out of slavery in Egypt. We learned the story and did some writing about it with Miss Barber.
As part of the celebrations, Jewish people make Sukkahs to remind them of the temporary shelters the Jews used to stay protected and safe. We made or drew our own Sukkahs too.
