Week 5

Year 2 children have had another fantastic week of learning! In Maths we carried on with our multiplication topic. They have worked with grouping, multiplication sentences and arrays this week. 

In English they created their own Polar Region animal, they labeled their features using noun phrases and have written fantastic non-fiction piece all about their animal!

In Geography we used Ipads to research the internet and find out facts about the Arctic and Antarctica and begin to understand the similarities and difference between the two. 

In science we are looking at properties of materials and how we use different materials. They have also created some fantastic art work this week! Looking forward to sharing pictures of these soon!

In RESHE we have been talking about online safety, what information is safe to share online and what information we should keep private.
