Thank you everyone!

For a computing challenge, Dove class investigated stop-motion animation. Here is a brilliant example of an erupting volcano, made by Aimee.

Dove class investigated the art work of a famous American painter called Georgia O'Keeffe. She liked to look at flowers very closely and paint huge canvases of small details.

The children then had a go at their own versions, in paint and in photography. They look wonderful!

Dove class had a challenge to become a newsreader! They were shown how to make a television out of scrap materials and learned how to write a script and speak in a formal voice. Here are wonderful examples from Siobhan and Joshua of just exactly how it should be done! Look out, Emily Maitlis and Jon Snow!

Our Science topic for Summer term is all about light and shadows. The children have been doing some art and craft at home that demonstrate light and shadows in different ways. They have been making shadow puppets and silhouette pictures. They look amazing!
