Stunning Start
We read a poem which hooked us into our new topic, helping us to think “what would I like to find out about trees, nature, habitats and animals?”
If you go down to the woods today you’re sure of a big surprise,
Foxes, badgers, voles and mice, beady-eyed owls in the swaying tree tops.
Beneath the leaves are tiny footprints.
