Wrap Around Care

Early Birds and Night Owls

At Bramber Primary school we offer a Breakfast “Early Birds” and After School “Night Owls” Activities Clubs. These are run by fully qualified school staff who know the children well and provide a calm and nurturing environment. Club members are from all year groups and quickly make new friendships.

Breakfast Club starts at either 7.30am or 7.45am and runs to the start of the school day. During these sessions we offer varied and healthy breakfast (eg. wholemeal toast, non-sugary cereal, crumpets, fruit, etc.) and can have the choice of milk or water to drink. We will have a Special Breakfast for the children one morning each half term. A decision about what that will be is made following a discussion with the children.

As part of our healthy school policy we provide our Breakfast Club children with their own toothbrush in order to clean their teeth once they have eaten (COVID restrictions permitting).

We have calm activities to start the day and all of this for the cost of only £4 per session, or £5 if starting from 7.30!

After School Club is from 3.00pm until 6.00pm. Children can join us from our other school clubs to participate with us in the activities and enjoy a healthy snack (eg. hot cross buns, wholemeal toast, crumpets, fruit) and drinks of milk and water. Parents can collect their child at a time convenient to them. We have the use of the majority of the equipment at school for the child-led activities. Outdoor play is encouraged, weather permitting. Children can do their homework in a quiet setting or rest if they wish. Each session costs £10.

We accept all Childcare Vouchers as payment for the sessions. Please contact the Bursar, Miss Phillips to inform her of your provider. We are a cashless school, payments can be made via the School Money Site.

If you are interested in your child joining our Activities Clubs please contact Mrs Stenlake via email on activityclub@bramberprimary.com to check availability.

Terms and Conditions

Full payment is to be made before or at the start of each half termly period. If payment is made by voucher and the voucher payment does not cover the cost, a top up is expected to be made. The Club reserves the right to refuse acceptance of your child if this payment is not made promptly. A penalty of £10 will be added to your account for late payment. Non-payment can result in the loss of the place at the club and we reserve the right to pursue the payment of any monies owed.

No refunds are made if a child does not attend a session. These sessions are non-transferable.

No charge is made for INSET days as the club will not be open. The Activities Clubs are only open during school days.

The children will be signed in and out of each session by the named adult(s) dropping off/collecting the child/children. (The Play Leader will sign the child in/out when collecting/dropping off the child at the class).

The Club has a policy for late collection of children. Parents will be charged an additional £5 per 15 minutes if the named adult is late for the collection of the child. The Club considers “late collection” to be from 6.01pm.

The Play Leader is to be informed about any changes to the details provided to the Club immediately.

Children will be in the care of the Play Team for the whole time of the session. They will only leave the club following a conversation and agreement with the Play Leader and parent/carer. Children may attend other Bramber after school clubs and join the Activities Club once this has finished. The Play Leader must be informed to register the child at each session. Full fees apply.

The parent/carer will inform the Play Leader 10 working days before the end of the half term if they wish to cancel or make changes to the booked sessions, otherwise we will regard the booking as ongoing and an invoice will be issued.

If you are happy to accept the terms and conditions, please contact the Play Leader for availability and complete and return the confidential details form.

The team look forward to your child or children joining us.
