In English children have been learning how to use apostrophes for possession, they had to find their class mates and Miss Leow hiding in the wing holding items and describe them correctly using apostrophes
Science
As part of our topic Icy worlds and science week topic Time Chaffinch class have begun to record the temperature at school and we are comparing this to the daily temperature at the south pole. Children are learning to read thermometers accurately and keeping a record over. these results will then be plotted onto a graph.
Children had a fantastic day on Friday for Eco day. They used the plastic materials collected from home to create some fantastic Polar animals. They also used their boxes to created their polar habitats
