Week one
Lion hunt
This week, we have started our new topic - Wild about Africa!
For our wow start to the topic we went on a lion hunt. We read the book 'We're going on a lion hunt' by David Axtell and followed the steps taken by the children in the story. Our hunt took us through the 'long, wavy grass', 'the lake', 'the swamp' and into the 'big dark cave' where we found a lion.... lucky for us the lion was a soft, cuddly toy.
