Week 9
This week we have continued rehearsing and making props for the play as the main parts of our learning.
We have also been practising our handwriting and spelling as well as continuing with our Fluent in Five. On Tuesday we did a maths investigation into what different layouts we could make using 24 stage blocks. Our most inventive results were: a bow and arrow, a trojan horse, an Ancient Greek ship, a helmet and a shield.
We also had Bramber's Day of Sport on Wednesday, which involved half taking part in doing the activities and half scoring the activities for the morning, then switching in the afternoon. The children got soaked in the morning and overheated in the afternoon, but continued to participate and score the events fantastically throughout the day!
