Heron class blog - week 11
In indoor PE we did African dancing it was very new and fun to learn about the new dancing. We also did topic we learnt about the 1970s. And did debating over convenience and non convenience food.
In computing we worked with our crumble kits where we made motors spin and lights change colour. We researched the event of our choice for our writing project.
We had Glocks, Art and French. In Art we worked on optical illusions based on Briget Riley's work and in French we studied items of clothing. We had our library session where some children had time in the library. We finished reading our book Letters from the Lighthouse and did our book reviews.
We did internet safety. In science we planned an experiment to compare the brightness of a lightbulb in a circuit. In outdoor PE we played football.
In English we worked on noun phrases. We have been working on rounding numbers all week in Maths, and today we rounded up to 1,000,000. In RE we labelled the features of a Mosque and said why they were important.
We had a fun week!
