Karyn Prowen

My specialism is Human Resource management.  I have membership status of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and completed the degree qualification at Brighton University in 2004. I taught the Certificate in HR Practice at Northbrook College Worthing (now the MET) for 13 years after qualifying and am currently a HR manager at a private company based in Rustington.

 

Before moving to Worthing I was a primary school teacher in the London area and taught the entire primary school age range from 5 to 11 during my 7 years in teaching.  This has given me invaluable experience in education and coupled with my HR skills help me to play an active role as a co-opted governor within the governing body.
