Computing

At Bramber, we want our children to be masters of technology. Children today live in a digital world where technology plays a pivotal part of their lives. Computing skills are a major factor in enabling children to be confident, creative and independent learners.

We want to equip our children to participate in a rapidly changing world, where their learning is increasingly transformed by technology. We aim to educate our children to use technology positively, responsibly and safely.

At Bramber, we recognise that the best prevention for a lot of the issues we currently see with technology and social media is through education. We aim to develop their ability to adapt to changes in the real world whilst also developing their digital resilience.

We aim to equip our children with the tools they need to overcome the challenges in the modern world. They must build on the skills they already have and use their maths, science and design technology skills in order to understand computing systems.

At Bramber, we want to provide children the skills they need to be able to use computing as a resource for their future learning and passions. We hope that our children will be able to apply the skills they learn so they have the confidence to choose where their computing skills will take them.
