Week 6

Monday

Art:

We had a visit from Hercule Van Wolfwinkle and we brought a picture (pictures) of our pets into school and sketched our pets in a funny way.

 Then we had playtime.

Indoor PE:

We continued on the apparatus gymnastics.

Maths:

We did four digit by two digit long division. 

  Then we had lunch.

Science:

We chose an animal to predict the evolution of our animal due to environmental issues over 100, 1,000 and 10,000 years.

 

Tuesday

 Maths:

In maths we did long and short division with fraction remainders.

  Then we had playtime.

English: 

We continued with our survival guides.

Reading:

 Then we read a book called Actual Size by Steve Jenkins. 

Computing:

 We continued with our websites.

 

 Wednesday:

 We started with Glocks and French.

 Then we had playtime.

 Maths: 

We did a recap on long and short division.

 Then we had lunch.

Art:

We painted our Nicholas Roerich mountains with watercolour.

 

Thursday

Maths:

 Long and short division with decimal remainders.

English:

We continued with our survival guides. 

Geography:

We learnt about different Biomes around the world. 

After lunch:

We had PE - rugby tournament.

Assembly:

Internet safety and Children's mental health week.

 

Friday:

Maths:

Division with remainders of 2 decimal places. 

English:

Survival guide writing continued.

Geography:

Start researching our Biomes in our groups

After lunch:

RSHE:

Kindness jars - what makes you happy.

Benji's run for charity:

We all ran a mile for Chestnut Treehouse.

Assembly:

Bramber certificates
