Week ten
Veterinary nurse visit
The Robins enjoyed a visit from a local veterinary nurse. She talked about how to keep pets healthy and safe. The children had the opportunity to use bandages to help the ‘poorly teds’, syringes to give the dog ‘medicine’ and listened to their heart beats with stethoscopes. At the end of the session, they put together the skeleton of a giraffe!
