  • Worthing Schools' Cross Country

    Thu 20 Oct 2022

On a sunny Saturday morning, children from Years 3 - 6 took part in the Worthing schools' cross country event.  It was so lovely to see so many children take part.  It is a long and gruelling run and all the children tried their very best to keep going and complete the race - they showed great resilience and perseverance.  It was lovely to see so many children's sense of achievement as they crossed the finish line.  It was also great to see all the children working as a team to cheer on their fellow runners.  A wonderful event...we're already looking forward to competing next year!

  • Success for the Netball Team!

Thu 20 Oct 2022 Miss Wood

The year 5/6 netball team have had two successful weeks this half term winning both the netball shoot out at Goring School and their first match against Windlesham School.

The shoot out was a hard-earned win for Bramber who won four out of six of their matches and drew one. This made for a tense final match against a team who had won all of their matches so far but the Bramber team persevered and won their final match. With a one point lead they were awarded the win!

A special shout out to Mia (Yr 6) who was awarded the coaches player by Mrs Duncan and Miss Wood for her composure, reliability and for being a good role model for the younger students.

The match against Windlesham School was also hard fought but the game ended with eight goals to Bramber and two to Windlesham.

    Congratulations to everyone that participated!

  • Harvest Celebrations and Fundraising

    Mon 10 Oct 2022

All year groups attended a special Harvest assembly on Monday to reflect on Harvest; being thankful for what we have and consider what it is like to not have what is needed to keep safe and healthy. Children were invited to wear their own clothes in exchange for donations to Turning Tides, a local charity that supports homelessness.

Duckling class joined the assembly, their first one, and presented a fabulous poem! They were so brave and confident. It was lovely to see! Parents and carers can watch their poem in action on Tapestry!
