Year 5 and 6 Indoor Athletics

On Tuesday 10th December, 14 of our year 5/6 children attended St. Andrew's High School for the Small Schools Indoor Athletics Competition.  

 

All of our children showed fantastic determination and sporting behaviour, giving their best performances and thoroughly enjoyed taking part in this competitive sports event. 

 

Many of our children had been practicing for many weeks in the Indoor Athletics After School Club prior to the event, and their results really did tally with the amount of hard work they put in. 

 

Two of our students won first place in the chest push and shuttlecock throw (both throwing events) and our teams gave excellent performances in the 4x1 relay and 1x1 relay events.  

 

We'd like to congratulate all those children who took part, and thank them for representing Bramber so well at the event.
