Week 5
Week 5
This week we learnt about the role of men, women and children in the Ancient Greek society. We did some drama and had to act out the different roles and then freeze again.
We finished our practice art piece on our Greek pottery and then did our front cover. Also, we read a lot of Greek myths, watched cartoons of them and talked about the morals in the stories.
In computing we finished creating our 3D models of a Greek temple and printed them out. We also finished making our inspirational figure presentations and showed them to the rest of the class.
Friday we had a Jubilee Party themed day and learnt about the Queen. We then had a picnic in the afternoon.
Finally, and probably the most exciting part of the week, was the auditions for TROY STORY and then finding out our parts. Everyone is going to learn their parts and the songs over the half term.
