The Dot

'Just make a dot and see where it takes you...'

We have been reading The Dot by Peter H Reynolds. This book is about a girl called Vashti who finds art difficult and thinks she can't do it. Vashti's teacher tells her to sign her name on the art she makes which inspires Vashti to make lots more dots. Eventually she has all her art work in a special show and at the end of the book she inspires a little boy to also believe he can be good at art too.

We think this book is inspiring and it has taught us about resilience and being kind to others.
