Week 9
Where the Wild Things are
We started our week starting our new text Where The The Wild Things Are. We studied the image on the front cover and made predictions. Once we had read the story we put actions to it to help us remember the sequence of the story. We then worked in groups to sequence images.
We then made stick puppets and used these to retell the story in our groups.
Worm investigation
After spending time learning about and looking at habitats we carried out a worm investigation to discover where worms like to live. We thought about the information we already know about Habitats to make our predictions. We then headed outside and started to hun for worms! We were excited to find lots of worms in our flower beds!
We talked about why we found lots there and wrote about our findings.
