Week eight
Science
In science, the children are learning about the human body. They had a great time drawing around each other and labelling the body parts.
Visitor
On Thursday the children enjoyed a visit from Christiania, who came to talk to them about life in Nigeria. She showed the children some foods that are grown in her country, and traditional clothes that are worn on formal occasions. Christiania also talked about what life is like for children that go to school in Nigeria compared to life here.
World book day
World book day was a great success, it was really nice to see the children in their wonderful costumes. As part of the day, the children 'buddied up' with the children from year six to share stories.
