Next week, Year 6 will be learning about and focusing on:

• writing a setting description of the outbreak of war in Germany in English
• starting our new class novel: Letters From The Lighthouse
• understanding place value up to 10,000,000 in Maths
• knowing that light travels in straight lines and how shadows are cast in Science
• Understanding what the 'Blackout' meant for people in the UK during WW2.

For our Stunning Start to our World War II topic 'We'll Meet Again', we got to act in role as evacuees and handling artefcts from the time!
