As a fabulous finish to our mini volcanoes topic, the children made ice-cream sundaes, but with a volcanic twist! They had to design a volcano before making. They had to consider whether it was a shield or composite volcano, whether it was dormant/extinct or active and what to name it. Then they chose four ingredients for toppings that would best recreate the volcano they had designed! Geographical yumminess!

Southern Water - Sewerwise!
Harry from Southern Water came to end our topic with a fun Sewerwise 'game show' where we learned lots of things about what happens AFTER food has been digested and left our bodies! Freddie and Henry were scribes and Henry chose three fun facts to share with you:
- The 3 P's are 'pee, poo and paper'. These are the only things that should be flushed.
- All the waste goes in a settlement tank and they scoop it all up and give it to the farmers.
- It takes a couple of weeks for the process to be done.
Thanks Freddie!
Farmer Caroline Visits Year 4!
