Week one

We started off the Autumn term by launching our new topic – A Great British adventure! The children used Lego to make models related to Britain. 

To find out what our first text was, the children had to find puzzle pieces to reveal clues to find the book!

The children found out that the book was 'Coming to England' by Floella Benjamin. They wrote some lovely postcards to 'Auntie' in Trinidad. 

Next week, the children will be learning about different types of adverbs, numbers to 100 in maths, cities in the UK and what it means to belong to a community.
