We began with a very special opening ceremony, led by our fantastic Legacy Leaders. They carried the torch around the track with pride before confidently delivering the Games Oath—setting a brilliant tone for the day ahead.

Once the competition began, our children were simply outstanding. They gave every event their all, showed fantastic teamwork, supported each other brilliantly, and demonstrated great respect to all the other competitors. We could not have been prouder of how they represented our school.

🏃 Relay Success

Our relay teams put in some incredible performances:

• Year 3 girls relay team – 3rd place overall 🥉
• Year 3 boys relay team – finalists
• Year 4 girls relay team – finalists

Making it through the heats to the finals is a fantastic achievement, and the Year 3 girls securing a podium finish was a real highlight!

⚡ Sprinting Stars

We also had amazing success on the track:

• Maggie (Year 3) won her heat and went on to achieve an outstanding 2nd place 🥈 in the final
• Marly (Year 4) qualified for the final and secured a brilliant 3rd place 🥉

The finals were incredibly tough, but both girls showed determination and resilience—we are so proud of them!

🏃‍♂️ Long Distance Excellence

In the long-distance events, our runners showed incredible perseverance:

• Harrison (Year 5) achieved a phenomenal 3rd place 🥉 in the 600m
• Finnley (Year 3) delivered an amazing performance to take 1st place 🥇

These races were fast-paced and demanding, and every child gave everything they had.

🎉 A Brilliant Atmosphere

The atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic, with children cheering each other on, joining in with sing-alongs, and celebrating every success. It truly captured the spirit of the Games.
