Scooterbility

Our Year 3 and Year 4 children enjoyed an exciting and energetic Scooterbility workshop delivered by Mini Bikers. The sessions were filled with fun, learning and plenty of opportunities for children to develop their confidence and coordination while riding their scooters safely.

Throughout the day, the children took part in a range of engaging activities designed to improve their balance, control and awareness while scooting. They learned important road safety skills, including how to manoeuvre safely, stop correctly and be aware of others around them. The instructors from Mini Bikers created a positive and encouraging environment, helping every child to build confidence and enjoy being active outdoors.

The workshop also highlighted the importance of keeping active and making healthy lifestyle choices. The children showed excellent enthusiasm and determination as they tackled new challenges and practised their skills with increasing independence.

Our pupils represented the school brilliantly with their fantastic listening, teamwork and perseverance throughout the sessions. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and children encouraging one another as they developed their Scooterbility skills.

We would like to thank the team at Mini Bikers for delivering such an enjoyable and valuable experience for our children. The workshop was a fantastic way to promote active travel, physical activity and road safety in a fun and memorable way
