Parallel Legacy Games

Our KS2 children had a fantastic time at the Parallel Games! The day began with a wonderful opening ceremony, where two of our children proudly carried the Olympic torch and read the athletes’ oath before the games officially began.

Throughout the day, the children took part in a wide range of exciting activities. They enjoyed Tri-Golf, led by the students from Oak Grove School, and had a brilliant time developing their cricket skills with West Sussex County Cricket. The children also played Ultimate Frisbee with a GB champion, learnt football skills with the Chelsea FC Academy, and put their long jump abilities to the test.

The event finished with a thrilling shuttle relay race against the other schools, which brought lots of excitement and team spirit to the end of the day.

It was a truly fantastic event. The children were incredibly respectful towards all of the staff and coaches, and they showed great enthusiasm and determination while trying each new activity. At the end of the day, every child was awarded a medal and certificate to celebrate their achievements.

Well done to all of the children for representing our school so brilliantly!
