A Wonderful Week of Learning!

What an incredible week it has been! The children have shown such enthusiasm, creativity and determination across all of their subjects, and we are so proud of everything they have achieved.

English ✍️✨

This week, the children have been amazing authors, bringing all of their writing skills together to craft exciting adventure stories inspired by The Boy Who Brought the Snow. Their ideas have been wonderfully imaginative, their vocabulary adventurous, and their finished stories an absolute joy to read!

Maths ➗➕✖️➖

In Maths, we’ve been working hard to complete our unit on measurement. The children have compared different measurements and used all four operations to solve a range of challenging problems. Some tasks were tricky, but their perseverance and determination really shone through!

Science 🌱🌍

We concluded our learning about plants by exploring how they grow in different climates around the world. The children loved this topic, especially discovering the variety of environments plants can thrive in. They have now taken their sunflowers home — we can’t wait to hear how tall they grow!

Design & Technology 🪡🧵

The children have finished their fantastic puppets in DT. They learned how to sew and took such care with their designs; each puppet is unique, creative and beautifully decorated. Their hard work and attention to detail were brilliant to see!

RSHE 💬⭐

In RSHE, we have been having important discussions about our bodies, including learning the correct names for body parts, understanding the differences between boys and girls, and recognising the importance of saying “no” when something doesn’t feel right. The children approached these conversations maturely and thoughtfully.

A Fabulous Finish! ❄️🐉

For one last magical moment, the Snow Dragon came to visit us on Friday morning— and this time, it left us an icy treat! The children were absolutely delighted, and it was the perfect way to end our wonderful term together.

We hope you all enjoy a wonderful and well‑deserved Easter break — full of sunshine, chocolate and special time together! 🌼🐣
