Embalmers at Brighton Museum!

Seagullls had a fantastic trip to Brighton Museum today to become embalmers!

We became embalmers and followed the rigorous process to prepare two bodies for the afterlife. Two of our children then became Maat and Anubis and performed the ceremony to weigh their hearts. One made it to the afterlife. The other had their heart thrown to the Devourer. We spent the rest of the day exploring the other exhibits in the museum. The prehistory exhibit was great as it reminded us of all of the learning from Year 3 about the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. We also saw some excellent fashion and art exhibits from around the world. A great day!
