WB 28.09

The Doves have had a wonderfully creative and busy week!

Writing: The children have been busy publishing their poems about how Little Red can stay safe in the forest. They have worked hard to turn their ideas into finished poems and have been very proud of their final pieces!

Maths: We have been exploring multiples of 10 over 100, counting in 10s and using our place-value knowledge to spot patterns and build our confidence with larger numbers.

Science: We became light investigators this week, exploring light and mirrors and discovering what happens when light meets a reflective surface. There were plenty of curious minds and brilliant observations!

Poetry Day: We also celebrated Poetry Day! The Doves worked together to create a special class poem all about what Bramber means to us (see below.) They shared poems with Kingfisher class.

Doves’ Bramber is..

Bramber is where I can express myself and who I am.

Bramber is where we make discoveries.

Bramber is where I dance, I feel cool.

Bramber is where I learn lots of stuff.

Bramber is where I love drawing with my friends.

Bramber is where I ask lots of questions.

Bramber is where we make friends.

Bramber is where I draw and learn.

Bramber is where I enjoy playing.

Bramber is where I make new discoveries.

Bramber is where I play with my friends.

Bramber is a place where we discover about Sussex.

Bramber is where I sing with my friends.

Bramber is discovering new things every day.

Bramber is a place where I learn my spellings.

Bramber is where we learn and play.

Bramber is where I play with excitement.

Bramber is where I started drawing.

Bramber is where I play with my friend.

Bramber is amazing because it can help find friends.

Bramber is so much fun, we learn new things.

Bramber is a place we can learn.

Bramber is a place where we read and write.
