The Doves have been busy exploring, investigating and learning lots of new things this week!

Maths: We have been learning all about dividing by 100, developing our understanding of place value and becoming more confident with those tricky numbers!

English: We have been getting to grips with sentence components, exploring what makes a sentence work and learning how to use each part effectively in our writing.

Science: We became light detectives! The Doves investigated the direction that light travels, exploring how light helps us to see the world around us.

 Sussex Explorers: Our maps of Sussex have been a particular favourite this week! The children have loved spotting different towns and cities, locating familiar places and discovering where they are in relation to one another. There has been lots of map-spotting happening in Dove Class!
