Week Commencing 18/5/26
What a busy and fantastic last week before half-term for Kingfishers!
DT – The children have been busy tasting seasonal fruit and vegetables. They then worked in groups to create their own seasonal salads.
Sports Day – What an amazing day. The children really embodied the Bramber Values, supporting each other and, of course, showing lots of support for the inflatable animals.
English – The children have been busy publishing their persuasive letters to Mrs Scott, in order to spend the profit they hope to make during their enterprise fair. They have asked for class pets, football cages and cleaning out the pond area amongst the ideas! After being postponed, the Enterprise Fair will take place after half-term on Thursday 4th June at 3:15pm.
Maths – The children have been continuing their learning of equivalent functions.
E4S – The children have been speaking about emotions and who are their trusted adults to speak to about any worries. We also discussed other ways to get advice through child safe websites such as Childline. After half-term, Mrs Scott and myself will be continuing the discussions about puberty.
R.E. Hinduism – The children have been exploring the festival of Holi (festival of colour).
Music – The children had their last drumming session outside with Simon.
Geography – The children have investigated how the Worthing seafront has changed over time.
