We use the Primary PE and Sport Premium funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE, physical activity and sport across the school. In line with Department for Education guidance, our funding is used to:

Develop and enhance our existing provision by providing additional opportunities for pupils to participate in high-quality PE, physical activity and sport. 

Build capacity and capability within the school through professional development, staff training and access to specialist expertise, ensuring that improvements are sustainable and benefit both current pupils and those joining Bramber in future years.

Promote participation and inclusion by providing opportunities for all pupils, including those who are less active, disadvantaged or have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), to engage in physical activity and enjoy the benefits of sport.

Encourage active and healthy lifestyles by promoting regular physical activity throughout the school day and developing pupils' understanding of the importance of physical health and wellbeing.

Broaden sporting experiences by providing opportunities for pupils to experience a range of sports, physical activities, competitions and events that complement and extend our curriculum provision.

We carefully plan, monitor and evaluate how the funding is spent to ensure that it has a positive and measurable impact on pupils' participation, engagement, physical development and sporting experiences.

Our aim is to ensure that the improvements made through the PE and Sport Premium are embedded in our everyday practice, creating a lasting legacy of high-quality PE and physical activity for all pupils at Bramber Primary School.
