📚✨ We were delighted to welcome local author Jim Beckett to our school, where he introduced the children to his wonderful Buzz Sausage Wolf book series! 🐶 

Using puppets, his ukulele and plenty of humour, Jim entertained everyone while the children became real storytellers, helping to choose the characters, setting, and plot to create a brand-new adventure together.

After school, Jim stayed to sell more books and children who had pre-ordered were thrilled to receive their very own signed copies ✍️📖.

A huge thank you to Steyning Bookshop for helping to bring Jim to our school and to Jim for such a fun and inspiring visit. We hope to welcome many more authors in the future and continue encouraging a lifelong love of reading across our school community ❤️📚.
