We were delighted to welcome the Mobile Library Van from the West Sussex Schools Library Service to our school today. This visit gave our children the opportunity to explore a fantastic selection of books and discover new titles to enjoy.

Two children from each class were chosen to visit the van (although nearly all of them put their hands up to volunteer!) They carefully browsed the shelves and selected books to refresh their class book boxes and reading spinners. The children took their role very seriously and showed great enthusiasm as they chose books that they knew their classmates would love to read.

As well as updating our classroom collections, our school library was also refreshed with a range of wonderful new books. We were especially pleased to receive books that had been pre-requested by our children through our Library Request Box, ensuring that pupil voice continues to play an important part in developing our reading provision.
