Egyptian Cartouches
These lovely cartouches have been on our wall since the first few days of term and were a lovely way to start the year, by celebrating our names in a truly Ancient Egyptian way!
The children carefully practised writing their name in hieroglyphs in their art sketchbooks, before creating their cartouches. They thought about the patterns they wanted to use within the rope area and the colours they thought would work well together for the background and cartouche.
